Self-taught acrylic painter exploring birds, memory, and the Pacific Northwest.
Sadie Goslant is a self-taught artist living and working in Port Orchard, Washington. Her practice centers on acrylic paintings that celebrate the birds and waterways of the Pacific Northwest — especially the Great Blue Heron, a recurring figure of patience, presence, and quiet strength.
Drawing influence from the region’s native art traditions, Gond patterning, and the raw textures of the natural world, her work combines vivid color fields with intricate, layered mark-making. Each painting is built slowly, often over dozens of hours, resulting in pieces that feel both contemporary and rooted in place.

Sadie welcomes commissions for original paintings. Whether you’re drawn to a particular bird, a meaningful landscape, or a specific size and palette, she works closely with collectors to create pieces that feel personal and alive.
